Wolfgang Wenzel
On January 28, 2010 Mr. Wolfgang Wenzel passed away at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC at the age of 72 years. He is survived by daughters Doris Wenzel and Christina Lousund both of Kamloops, his sons Manfred Wenzel of Amberg, Germany and Martin Lousund of Mackenzie, BC and his first wife Ursula Wenzel of Kamloops. Also left to cherish his memory are his three grandchildren and his brother Manfred Wenzel of Germany. Wolfgang was predeceased by his second wife Carol Wenzel (nee Lousund).
He was a generous humanitarian with his time in helping friends and neighbours with his carpentry skills. Wolfgang was renowned as a humorist for the true jokes he pulled on those around him. He was loved and admired by everyone whose lives he touched. He will be sorely missed by all.
The family wish to thank all the staff of the Ponderosa Lodge who helped him during his final days. They were so kind and caring, trying to make him as comfortable as possible whilst in their care.
Also special thanks to Dr. Paul Yanko who has been so good to Wolfgang over the years and who was with him every step of the way.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Sauder officiating.

Its been a very long time since we lived in Mackenzie but we have some memories of your dad. We remember his laugh and his smile. Funny how both families ended up in Kamloops.
