March 12, 1968 – Feb. 12, 2010
Tina Marie Baptiste passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at the age of 41 years.
She is survived by her parents, Norman (Sonia), Gladys; sisters and brother: Melissa, Arnold, Karen; nieces and nephews: Kathryn, Kaitlyn, Rylan, Jace; her best friend Linda Yates; her pets Mikey and Mimi; her cousins: Ralph, Jules Jr., Joanne Phillips.
Tina was born and raised in Louis Creek. She spent most of her life advocating for low income and homeless people, and those who couldn’t defend themselves. She will be sadly missed by family and her many friends.

Service to be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Schoening Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House, 72 Whiteshield Crescent, Kamloops, B.C. V2E 2S9 in memory of Tina Baptiste.

i am so sorry to hear of tina’s passing….i will miss her bright hello whenever we ran into each other over the years—she always made me feel special, as she did with all those who were priviledged to meet her—she will be missed…my thoughts are with her family and friends–read somewhere that when death comes, it will not go away empty…tina did lots with her life…hopefully, the rest of us can, too
