Ruby Mavis Larson

mrs-larsonOn February 25th, 2010, Mrs. Ruby Mavis Larson of Kamloops, passed away at the age of  69 years.

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister.

Predeceased by her husband Arthur, parents Havlock and Alice McFadyen, daughter Oline and brother Ivan. Ruby will be dearly missed by her daughters Wendy (Blaine) Frisk and Cissy  (Randy) Gullickson;  grandchildren Wes, Dustin(Jody), Darren, Aleisha(Kyle), Clayton, Meagan, Courtney, Kristin, and Jarrod, and great grandsons Kale and Keaton.  She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters Wanda (Frank) McNally, Wilda (Neil)Banks, and  Anne (Frank) Manley, brother Dennis (Yvonne) McFadyen, numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.

She has resided in the Highland Valley, Logan Lake and Kamloops area since 1966.

Mom’s happiest memories were when her family was together for any event we could find to celebrate.  We are all so grateful for those precious memories

Death leaves a heartache

No one can heal,

Love leaves a memory

No one can steal.

A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be held in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Should friends desire, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1589 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, V1Y 5V7  would be appreciated in her memory.
