Ronald Vernon
On Wednesday, June 2, 2010 Ronald Vernon passed away at the age of 83 years. He was born March 30, 1927 in Wallasey, England and it was there that he met and has been married for 61 years to his wife Olive. Ron has been a dear husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Olive, his son Robert, daughter Lesley and son in law Ken, also grandchildren Michael, John, Jennifer, Jessica and Mark. Ron was a wonderful carpenter all his working life and had built luxury Sailboats.
The family would like to thank Dr. J. Anderson and the wonderful staff at Ponderosa Lodge for their loving care of Ron.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Sauder officiating.
Should friends desire, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated in Ron’s memory.
i miss him so much, i am reminded everyday that he was so amazing, i was his shadow. now i think of him as my shadow looking upon me, to keep me safe. living life with out him here is to wrong, it shouldnt have happened the way it did.
its so sad of how he went.
