Visiting Auntie Alyce and Uncle Ray is one of my favourite memories. I never saw either of them without a smile or a kind word to say. When you were around them you always knew you were loved and if you needed an ego boost that was the place to be because they praised you the entire time you were there by telling you how beautiful you were, how smart and how talented. When you were with them they gave you their undivided attention the entire time - you knew they were listening and that they cared about every word that came out of your mouth. You always knew they were proud of you and that you were their favourite - everyone in the family was their favourite because that is just how much they loved. Everyone should aspire to be like them and then the world would be a perfect place. If you need to see love at its purest, to experience joy and peace....then remember Uncle Ray - the world will be missing a real, great man.

To the Scramstad Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr.Scramstad was a wonderful and friendly man.Growing up my family lived 5 doors down from the Scramstad's. He was always so very friendly and always seemed like a very gentle man.

May you take comfort in the love and support that surrounds you.
