January 3, 1932 – May 21, 2010
It is with sadness in our hearts that we regret to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and uncle, Marko. Though we miss him desperately, we know Marko is at peace.
Marko is survived by his loving wife, Eva, and his children, Sandra Morton, Ann Weller and Sherry (Visnja) May. He will also be deeply missed by his niece, Mary Muraca, and grand children: Cary Weller (Age 25), Samantha Weller (Age 23), Thomas (TJ) May (Age 18), and Katrina Ann May (Age 8).
Known to many as ‘Little Marko’ but just as many as ‘Dido’—He unrelentingly loved all who came into the garden of his life, greeting us all with open arms no matter which path we walked. Born in Croatia, he drew from there, his love of God, dedication to family and tireless energy. He will be forever remembered.
Prayers will be recited on Friday, May 28th, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Tranquille Road, Kamloops.
The Reverend Father Peter H. Nguyen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial in the Church on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m.
On Monday, May 31st, at 9:30 a.m., Marko’s cremated remains will be entombed in Sage Valley Mausoleum, Hillside Cemetery.
