Joyce Elaine Philpott
On December 22, 2011 Mrs. Joyce Elaine Philpott passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her two sons Wayne (Marlene) of Blind Bay, B.C. and Michael (Christine) of Beaverlodge, Alberta and her two grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her four brothers Victor, Gordon, Vernon and Gary. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Joe in 2003.
Joyce was born on June 19, 1933 near Truro, Nova Scotia. She moved to Vanderhoof, B.C. in 1951 with her family. There, she met her husband Joe, and they were married in 1953. Joyce, Joe and family moved to Kamloops in 1961. She worked at Woodward’s from 1967 until 1985. Joyce enjoyed time will family and friends, reading and in her later years, the internet.
