James “Lee” Hunt
James “Lee” Hunt passed away suddenly on his 53rd birthday, June 9, 2010 at his home in Heffley Creek. He is survived by sister Joanna Macaulay (Kamloops), his nieces Christy (Vancouver) and Arian (Tofino), a grand niece, and a wide circle of very loved friends. Lee was predeceased by his beloved mother, Ellen in 2007.
Born 1957 in White Rock, Lee grew up in North Kamloops (NorKam class of 1975). Lee was a passionate fly fisherman and skier. His fondest times were spent in the Heffley Valley with his many friends and fellow “‘Todies”.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 11:00 at the Old Burfield Lodge, Tod Mountain (Sun Peaks Resort). Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 201-635 Victoria Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2B3 in memory of Lee would be appreciated.
