  1. Don and Carman-Anne Schulz (Duncan) says:

To the family and close friends of Evie McGire:

During my growing up years in Jasper and Valemount, and then my married life in Kamloops, I was constantly “running into” Evie. Kind, gentle, gracious and friendly at all times. Whether,I saw her at curling, on the golf course, or shopping, she always took delight in chatting and asking about all the folks we both knew. I especially remember the elephant ear plants she gave me when we moved into our then “new” home 25 years ago this year. They bloom faithfully every year, and on many occasions I informed her that they welcomed the spring. She enjoyed hearing about that, as well as taking pleasure in all the simple things in life that make us happy. I will miss this wonderful pioneer lady, who really was a Canadian Daughter. What a lady! Our deepest sympathy to all the special people that made her life so happy. She treasured you all.

  2. Jean McElgunn says:

Sincere condolences to the family of Evie McGuire. The world will be a poorer place without her. Evie was a lovely lady with a great sense of humour. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, and especially the versatile group of the R.I.H. Auxiliary where she had volunteered many hours. Goodbye Evie, I will miss you but will always remember you.

  3. Becky Everett says:

To the family of Evie McGuire:

I was lucky enough to marry into a family 30 years ago that Evie and Ted were a very special part of. They soon became very special to me also, I will miss Evie very much. Evie participated in almost all of our family get togethers and we all enjoyed visiting with her and most times enjoying her delicious cookies.

She was a very special lady to many people and although we will miss her immensely she will be at peace with Ted.

    God Bless You Evie!
    Love Becky, Gregg and boys
