On Thursday, June 3, 2010 Dwight Torben Elder Nilsen passed away peacefully at the age of 41 years. He is survived by his mother Selma (Jim) Umpherson of Toronto, his father Toby of Pinantan Lake, his sister Dr. Sandra Nilsen of Ottawa and his brother Paul (Linda) of Squamish and numerous friends.
Dwight was born September 24, 1968 in Alliston, Ontario. He has made his home in Kamloops the past 29 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street with Pastor Terry Sauder officiating.
Should friends desire, donations to the Royal Inland Hospital (Renal Unit), 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC V2C 2T1 in memory of Dwight would be appreciated.
