Doug passed away on February 19 peacefully with his family at his side.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Benny, son Bob (Kathy), grandchildren Olivia and Garet, daughter Andrea (Michael), grandchildren Blake, Clay and Gillian.  He was predeceased by his young son Douglas Christopher Hall in 1980.

 

A loving, devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, Doug will be dearly missed.  Doug was an amazing man who dedicated 37 years of his life working for the RCMP, commitment to his profession was exceeded only by his love and dedication to his family and close friends. 

 

He enjoyed life to its fullest keeping busy hunting, fishing and camping, he found great joy in spending time with his five grandchildren taking interest and pride in all their activities and accomplishments. 

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr.Azad and Dr.Michaud, as well as the nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, for their wonderful care.

The celebration of Doug’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday February 25, 2010, in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street.
