and Mitchell Brkich. John was well known in
the community of Kamloops for his ownership of the Leland Hotel for many
years. He will be remembered for his humour, generosity and his love
for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. We would like to express
our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Dong, in addition to being extremely
supportive of dad in the last 4 years, he also became his friend. We would
also wish to thank all the staff and residents of Kamloops Senior Village
for their kindness, care, and the family environment they provided for John
over the past years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January
